Text Box: At the annual Minnesota Walleye Fishing opener, ChopperDave captured the Lake Ida Fishing Opener Walleye Champion trophy after it had eluded him for several years. The Stanley Cup of all fishing trophies is back to where it belongs...on ChopperDave’s mantel in his lavish mansion on Long Lake. ChopperDave is already looking forward to defending his title next year.

Text Box: The 2006 Alzheimer’s Motorcycle Ride for the Mind was June 17, 2006. This year, the event raised over $20,000 to benefit Horizon Health Inc. and Regions Hospital Alzheimer Research Center. Any and all info for this event can be found at www.rideforthemind.com. The weather didn’t quite cooperate, but the ride went on through the rain. About 100 bikes roaring through the rain for about 100 miles, and all for a good cause. ChopperDave will be back for this ride in 2007. See ride photos by clicking here.
