Text Box: Motorcycle riders should be aware of a mail scam being perpetrated in the area. A letter requesting $1,000.00 per rider for a tour of the Sioux Falls area is being circulated. This letter appears to be a scam. ChopperDave’s research shows there are no good roads in the southeast area of South Dakota. The leader of this scam may be a college student or possibly a recent newlywed simply trying to fund his/her motorcycle/crotch rocket program due to limits being placed on him by his new bride. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY!! This scam will be checked into during ChopperDave’s V-twins to Vermillion Tour with Vrodboy.

Upcoming ChopperDave events:

· V-Twins to Vermillion Venture,  September 15, 16 & 17

· ChopperDave’s Live for Leaves Run, September  23,24, & 25

· NFL football season

August 26th, 2006 - 16th Annual Mille Lacs Lake M/C Toy Run a huge success.     The ride left Trophies Bar and included 2 stops on the ride.  1st stop Hunter's Point, 2nd stop the Blue Goose.  The last stop was The Hillman Bar where there was  a Hog Roast sponsored by the Mille Lacs Classic Car Club, Door Prizes, Music, Camping and of course FUN!   All toys and donations went to the Onamia & Princeton Fairview Hospitals, North and Onamia Ambulance, Local Law Enforcement, and anyone else in need.

ChopperDave is shown at right as the shadows were lengthening and the riders were heading to the final stop in Hillman.  There were over 500 cycles in attendance and the weather was perfect for ChopperDave’s second ride around MilleLacs Lake of the 2006 riding season.
